VoteID 2015: Call for Participation

The second call for participation was recently sent by Prof. Rolf Haenni, BFH, for the Fifth International Conference on E-voting and Identity (VoteID 2015), 2-4 September 2015, Bern, Switzerland. Researchers, scientists, security engineers, and e-voting experts are excpected to get together at one of the key event of this year relatet to e-voting.

 

Nationalratswahlen ohne Consortiums-System

Wie die Bundesadministration in ihrer Medienmitteilung vom 12. August 2015 bekanntgegeben hat, finden die Nationalratswahlen vom Herbst 2015 ohne das System des Consortiums Vote électronique statt. Das entsprechende Gesuch wurde nicht bewilligt. Ein von der Bundeskanzlei in Auftrag gegebenes externes Audit "...weist im System des Consortiums eine Lücke beim Schutz des Stimmgeheimnisses nach".

 

Generalversammlung 2014

Am Donnerstag, dem 13. Februar 2014, fand in Bern die Generalversammlung 2014 statt. An die Stelle des zurücktretenden Vize-Präsidenten Prof. Dr. Eric Dubuis wurde sein Kollege, Prof. Dr. Rolf Haenni, einstimmig in der Vorstand gewählt. Rolf ist seit 2012 Leiter der E-Voting-Gruppe des Instituts RISIS der Berner Fachhochschule.

 

EVOTE2014 PhD Colloquium: Call for Participation

The goal of the colloquium is to foster understanding and collaboration between Ph.D students from various disciplines working on e-voting. To this end, the program allows plenty of space for discussion and initiating collaboration based on presentations by attendees.
This PhD colloquium continues the tradition of PhD workshops on e-voting that started in 2006 and took place in various locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg . As this time it is part of the well-established EVOTE conference taking place in the renaissance castle Hofen in Bregenz in Vorarlberg, the western-most part of Austria, it is explicitly internationally oriented, and knowledge of German is therefore not necessary. E-Voting PhD Days 2013: Call for Participation

The E-Voting Group of BFH / RISIS is organizing a PhD workshop on e-voting. This workshop continues the tradition of PhD workshops on e-voting that started in German-speaking countries. This edition is explicitly internationally oriented, and knowledge of German is therefore not necessary.
